MS+PARTNERS leads a €28 million growth investment round to accelerate Maritime Robotics’ international expansion and strengthen its position as a category leader in autonomous maritime operations
Trondheim / London, June 2026 – Mustard Seed + Partners (“MS+PARTNERS”) is pleased to announce that it has invested into Maritime Robotics AS, a global leader in unmanned surface vessels (USVs) and autonomous navigation systems (ANS), enabling safer, efficient and more sustainable ocean space operations.
MS+PARTNERS led the €28 million growth investment round to accelerate international expansion, investing alongside the founders and existing shareholders EnvisionTech, Norwegian state-owned fund Nysnø Climate Investment and Umoe AS. The round also saw strong participation from employees.
This marks the second investment from MS+PARTNERS’ private equity fund, launched in 2025, fully aligned with its strategy of investing in Europe’s next generation of category leaders where sustainability drives productivity and resilience.
Maritime Robotics’ autonomous navigation system and sea drones are transforming maritime operations, drastically reducing emissions and costs of operation while enhancing safety at sea. Supporting seabed mapping, research, asset protection, and more, its systems enable sustainable, efficient, and safe navigation worldwide, with minimal fuel use and stronger protection of people and assets.
Founded in 2005 in Trondheim, Norway, Maritime Robotics has a proven track record of developing and commercialising maritime autonomy solutions and turn-key USVs worldwide, for marine data acquisition, serving key markets across the mapping & surveying, security, energy and transportation & logistics sectors. As the market for maritime autonomous vessels continues to grow rapidly, the funding will support the company’s efforts to meet increasing demand while scaling its operations globally.
